Iran May Sell Drones to Armenia: What Turkish Newspapers Are Reporting

The Turkish newspaper "Milliyet" has published an article titled "Iran May Sell Drones to Armenia: Playing with Fire in the Caucasus," discussing the potential sale of Iranian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to Armenia.

According to the article, "Iran is at risk of losing its influence in the South Caucasus and is trying to obstruct peace negotiations between Baku and Yerevan by encouraging Armenia. The Tehran administration has never hidden its concern over the Zangezur corridor project," highlighting that this corridor would establish a direct link between Azerbaijan and Nakhchivan.

The article also features commentary from Azerbaijani political analyst Fuad Shahbazov, who speculates that Iran is likely to supply Armenia with "Shahid-136" UAVs in an attempt to disrupt the Turkey-Azerbaijan axis.
