VIDEO: 'The Road of Life' - Youth of Artsakh Address the World

Yesterday, the youth of Artsakh gathered near the monument 'We are our mountains', known as 'Zedo-Babo', to raise their voices and express their protests to the world. More than 500 young people organized a flash mob called 'The Road of Life'.

On December 12, around 10:30 AM, a group of Azerbaijanis in civilian clothes blocked the Stepanakert-Goris highway, again under the pretext of environmental reasons. The Azerbaijani side violated the provisions of the trilateral agreement signed on November 9, 2020, by closing the only road connecting Artsakh to the world on environmental grounds, infringing on the vital interests and rights of the civilian population.

On December 13, Azerbaijan also ceased gas supply to Artsakh. On December 16, Artsakh's State Minister Ruben Vardanyan stated during a live broadcast that Azerbaijan had restored gas supply without any preconditions or concessions from their side. He noted that the road might be opened later in the day; however, even one day after that statement, the only road connecting Artsakh to Armenia continues to remain closed.
