Pope Francis Calls Ukraine Conflict a 'World War'
Pope Francis believes that the conflict in Ukraine is a 'world war' and is unlikely to end in the near future. He expressed this viewpoint in an interview with the Spanish newspaper ABC.
'Right now, Vladimir Zelensky is sending one of his religious advisors to me for the third time. I am in touch, I accept, I help,' said Pope Francis.
'I do not see the end of the conflict in the short term, as this is a world war,' he stated. 'There are already several hands involved in the war, and they have a great interest.'
