Number of Visitors to Qatar During World Cup 2022 Revealed

From November 20 to December 18, over 1.4 million people visited Qatar during the FIFA World Cup. This information was provided by RIA Novosti, citing the organizing committee of the tournament.

"During the tournament, Qatar welcomed more than 1.4 million guests from various corners of the globe, with a total of approximately 3.4 million fans attending matches at the stadiums, meaning the average number of fans for each match exceeded 53,000," the statement said.

It was noted that the maximum occupancy of stadiums during football matches reached up to 96%. Qatar is the first Arab and Muslim country granted the right to host the World Cup.

It is important to mention that the final stage of the World Cup 2022 will soon commence, with Argentina and France competing for the trophy.
