Former Speaker Galust Sahakyan Dies

Former Speaker of the National Assembly Galust Sahakyan has passed away. This was reported by Hraparak.am. 

Sahakyan had been undergoing treatment for a serious illness for an extended period, and in recent days he was transferred to Germany for further treatment. Today, his health condition sharply deteriorated, and it was not possible to save Galust Grigorich's life.

The dates for the memorial service and burial are yet to be determined, as arrangements must first be made for his transfer from Germany to Armenia.

Galust Sahakyan was born on April 8, 1948.
