VIDEO: Over 500 Youth Gather Near 'Zedo-Babo' Says Antakhanian
Young people from Artsakh have gathered near the 'Me’nk enk mer sareiry' monument, known as 'Zedo-Babo'. This was announced by host and producer Erik Antakhanian on his Facebook page.
“On the sixth day of the blockade, the residents of Artsakh continue to live; they have the right to live. More than 500 youth are currently gathered near 'Zedo-Babo'; you will find out what they are going to do next,” said Erik Antakhanian on his Facebook page.
Recall that on December 12, around 10:30 AM, a group of Azerbaijanis in civilian clothes once again closed the Stepanakert-Goris highway under the pretext of environmental concerns. The Azerbaijani side has violated the provisions of the trilateral agreement dated November 9, 2020, by blocking the only road connecting Artsakh to the world, infringing upon the vital interests and rights of the civilian population.
On December 13, Azerbaijan also halted gas supply to Artsakh. Yesterday, on December 16, the State Minister of Artsakh Ruben Vardanyan stated during his live broadcast that without any preconditions and without any concessions on their part, Azerbaijan had restored gas supply. He noted that the road could be opened during the day; however, one day after that statement, the only road connecting Artsakh to Armenia remains closed.
