The Woman Who Killed the Dove Claims the Bird is Not Dead
Former MP from the ruling party, Tatevik Hayrapetyan, has posted a message informing that the "environmentalist" woman who killed the dove has denied the news that the bird is no longer alive.
"The president of the Azerbaijan-Iraq Cultural Relations Association, Tahira Mamedova, who is known for her heroic act of choking the dove, today commented on the incident. She said, 'I pressed the dove with all my strength so it wouldn't fly away. Apparently, when I was squeezing its wing, it felt pain and shook its head to one side. When I released the dove, it wanted to fly, but I saw that it was just tired and fell to the ground. The participants of the action took the dove to the headquarters. The bird is alive; they gave it water. It only has a broken wing. I am very happy about that.'"
Thus, she is trying to deny the news of killing the dove. It is also unclear what connection this woman has to environmental protection at all.
Meanwhile, on Azerbaijani social media, there are mockeries that soon the dove itself will deliver a speech thanking Aliyev and others for their care.
