Stepanakert Airport Capable of Receiving Humanitarian Aid Flights, Says Tandilyan
The President of the 'Country of Living' party, Mane Tandilyan, has stated that 'For the sixth consecutive day, the Azerbaijanis, who present themselves as 'environmentalists,' have illegally closed the only road connecting Artsakh to Armenia. To this day, 120,000 residents of the Republic of Artsakh, including 30,000 children, are trapped and deprived of essential supplies.'
'Currently, the supply of food, medical supplies, and fuel to Artsakh has been completely halted. Meanwhile, the airport in Stepanakert is fully operational and currently has the capability to receive humanitarian aid flights. This route of salvation requires only the determination of the international community.'
'In order for humanitarian flights to take off for Artsakh, the world needs to demonstrate its commitment to universal values and make a clear decision. Diplomatic efforts in this direction should become more intense. All efforts should be employed to secure the necessary agreements and utilize all resources to reach this decisive resolution.'
'To prevent Azerbaijan's provocations from leading to crises, and to ensure that we do not find ourselves in similar catastrophic situations, the opening of a humanitarian air corridor to Artsakh must become an immediate and urgent solution. The air route is essential for preserving Artsakh as a distinct community.'
