More than forty flights delayed in Moscow

In Moscow's three airports—Vnukovo, Domodedovo, and Sheremetyevo—20 flights have been delayed and 17 canceled, reports RIA Novosti.

As of 10:23 AM Moscow time, six flights at Vnukovo have been delayed, while 10 have been canceled.

At Domodedovo, eight flights have been delayed and one canceled. At Sheremetyevo, six flights have been delayed and six canceled.

This December has surpassed the norm for precipitation in the capital. Mikhail Leus, a leading employee at the Phobos weather center, stated this on Thursday.

According to Roman Vilfand, the scientific director of the Russian Hydrometeorological Center, the snowfall in Moscow could reach a record height of 22 cm on Monday, which is close to the record height of 1941. A more complicated situation is expected tomorrow, as snowfall is predicted to intensify and bursts will continue.
