Azerbaijan is a Reliable Partner for Europe, Says President of the European Commission

Azerbaijan is a reliable partner for Europe in the energy sector, stated Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission, in Bucharest, where Azerbaijan, Georgia, Romania, and Hungary signed an agreement on strategic cooperation in the field of renewable energy today.

“This document brings the European Union closer to our partners in the South Caucasus,” said von der Leyen during the signing ceremony.

The agreement was signed by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili, Romanian Prime Minister Nicolae Ciucă, and Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán.
