We Hope the Road Will Open Today: David Babayan

We hope that today the Goris-Stepanakert road will be opened, stated David Babayan, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Artsakh, during a conversation with journalists in Yerevan, noting that efforts are being made in this direction.

“But it should be understood that such terrorist actions will continue. Apparently, that will be the case,” said Babayan.

In response to a question about his assessment of the actions of Russian peacekeepers, Babayan remarked, “We must be objective. If it were not for the Russian peacekeeping mission, Artsakh would have long been destroyed. On the other hand, we see that the potential of the peacekeeping mission, which is a direct derivative of the mandate, needs to be increased. We have voiced our proposals on this issue in various forums.”
