Doctors Are Doing Everything Necessary for the President's Health: Peskov on Putin
There is no need for concern. Russian President Vladimir Putin will travel to Belarus for a working meeting almost immediately after receiving a flu vaccination, said Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the Russian President. This information was relayed by RIA Novosti.
“The doctors, of course, are doing everything necessary for the president's health, and all required precautionary measures are being taken,” Peskov said in response to a question about whether Putin was afraid to go to Belarus shortly after receiving the flu vaccine.
On Wednesday, Putin announced that he had been vaccinated against the flu. His visit to Belarus is scheduled for December 19.
