“Azerbaijani supplies do not resemble humanitarian aid,” says Russian Foreign Ministry source
The transfer of transformers and generators from Azerbaijan to Ukraine as "humanitarian aid" raises questions for Russia. This was stated by a source from the Russian Foreign Ministry in an interview with TASS.
“This step by Baku raises perplexity. Within the framework of the special military operation, the armed forces of the Russian Federation are destroying Ukraine's critical infrastructure, which is being used by the Kyiv regime for military purposes. The Azerbaijani supplies, which are unlikely to fundamentally change the situation, do not resemble humanitarian aid,” the source noted.
The source also drew attention to the opinions of certain Azerbaijani commentators who indicated that the supplied equipment is in demand within the republic, considering the necessity for the post-conflict reconstruction of the Nagorno-Karabakh territories and the growing socio-economic challenges.
