Health Ministry Appeals to WHO Regarding Closure of Lachin Corridor
The Minister of Health of Armenia, Anahit Avanesyan, has appealed to the World Health Organization, expecting a prompt response from high-ranking officials of the organization concerning the humanitarian disaster brewing in Artsakh due to Azerbaijan's closure of the Lachin corridor. This information was reported by the Armenian Health Ministry.
Anahit Avanesyan also raised the issue in a post on her Twitter microblog, stating, "As a result of Azerbaijan's closure of the Lachin corridor, the people of Artsakh are facing a healthcare crisis.
