Beglaryan Discusses Expectations from Armenian Authorities

“This sit-in and the acts of civil disobedience have nothing to do with my official duties. I have submitted a vacation request and am currently on leave. If necessary, I am also prepared to resign, as this is a principled, national, state, and personal issue for me,” said Artak Beglaryan, an advisor to the Prime Minister of Artsakh, during a conversation with journalists at the sit-in near the UN office.

He emphasized that this is the only way he can fight for his people right now. “I expect effective actions from both the Armenian authorities and the opposition. If any of them cannot, is not capable, or does not wish to support Artsakh, then they must refrain from causing harm,” Beglaryan stated. It should be noted that Artak Beglaryan announced an indefinite sit-in today in Yerevan.
