PHOTOS: Azerbaijan Deploys Police Forces on Goris-Stepanakert Road

Azerbaijani police officers have arrived at the site of a protest by Azerbaijani eco-activists on the Goris-Stepanakert road. Previously, troops of the Azerbaijani National Guard had also arrived.

Azerbaijani media report that the so-called "environmental protesters" welcomed the law enforcement officers with applause.

As previously noted, on December 12 at around 10:30 AM, the Azerbaijani side violated the provisions of the trilateral agreement of November 9, 2020, by closing the only road connecting Artsakh to Armenia under the pretext of environmental reasons, infringing on the vital interests and rights of the civilian population.
