Any Attempt to Seize the Corridor Will Only Escalate the Dormant Fire in the Caucasus: Iranian MP

The actions of the Baku government to close the Lachin corridor are a blatant violation of the ceasefire in Nagorno-Karabakh. This was stated by Ara Shaverdyan, a member of the Iranian Parliament, on his Twitter page regarding the closure of the only road connecting Artsakh to Armenia by Azerbaijanis.

“Any attempt to close and seize this corridor is a gross and dangerous imagination that will only escalate the dormant fire in the Caucasus,” the MP wrote.
