Didier Deschamps to Continue as France National Team Coach Until Euro 2024
Didier Deschamps, the head coach of the France national football team, will continue his coaching role until the 2024 European Championship. The French Football Federation has dismissed the idea of handing the national team reins to Zinedine Zidane.
This was reported by Le Parisien. According to the source, Deschamps secured the right to determine his future with the national team thanks to the victory over the England team in the quarter-finals of the 2022 World Cup.
Previously, it was reported that the 54-year-old coach wishes to continue working with the France national team. Zidane's candidacy is no longer being considered by the French Football Federation.
Deschamps has been leading the France national team since 2012. He guided the team to the Euro 2016 final and won the 2018 World Cup.
