Head of Russia's Federal Customs Service Anti-Corruption Department Arrested for Bribery in Moscow

The head of the Anti-Corruption Department of the Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation has been arrested in Moscow. General Dmitry Murishov was detained by the FSB for allegedly accepting a large bribe. He is currently being interrogated at the headquarters of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation. A preventive measure for Murishov will be chosen in the near future. This information was reported by Izvestia.

This is not the first high-profile arrest in the FCS system in recent times. Specifically, in September of this year, Sergey Bichkov, the head of the Department for Combating Economic Customs Violations of the Central Operational Customs of the Federal Customs Service, was also arrested.
