Saakashvili Is Actually Acting in a Self-Harming Mode and Does Not Comply with Treatment: Minister

The Minister of Justice of Georgia, Rati Bregadze, has stated that the third president of Georgia, currently imprisoned Mikheil Saakashvili, is actually acting in a self-harming mode and does not comply with the treatment process. This was reported by Aliq Media.

According to Bregadze, Saakashvili receives his desired food at the time he wants, and it can be confidently said that Saakashvili does not comply with the treatment course set by the doctors.

The minister noted that part of the opposition is trying to exert pressure on the judge regarding the postponement of Saakashvili’s sentence using various media outlets. Bregadze emphasized that the main goal of the radical opposition-led campaign today is to illegally release Saakashvili.

“In a modern democratic country, one cannot exert pressure on a judge. I doubt that there is a modern civilized state where, whether it be the media or the opposition, anyone claims the right to interfere with judicial actions and do all this out of concern for someone’s health,” the minister stated.
