Bryusov's Holiday Home Rented Below 200,000 Drams; Rector Accused of Multiple Violations

The rector of the Bryusov University, Karine Harutyunyan, has committed a series of violations, which are currently under investigation by law enforcement agencies. This information was reported by "Haykakan Zhamanak."

According to our sources, over the past four years, she has allocated several million drams in bonuses to herself, unjustifiably granted discounts totaling millions of drams to more than ten students, and collected over several million drams in additional tuition fees from numerous other students.

There have been instances where some students of the university were absent from the country, yet their absences were not recorded, and they received credits for exams, advanced to the next course, and obtained diplomas.

According to the same reports, the university's holiday home located in Tsaghkadzor, Kotayk Province, has been rented out for several years at a low price not exceeding 200,000 drams. The cost of maintaining the dormitory has reached approximately 125 million drams, but the income recorded for operational activity has been significantly lower.

Additionally, the university rector has allegedly appointed an individual to a position of caretaker who was not in the country, yet a salary of around 700,000 drams has been issued under their name.
