We Hope Armenia Will Come to Its Senses: Cavusoglu

Turkey is currently one of the most reliable players in international diplomacy. This was stated by Turkey's Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu.

“Today, Turkey is one of the most reliable players in global diplomacy. Because we do what we say, and we say what we do,” Cavusoglu said while speaking at the conference titled “Turkey's Entrepreneurial and Humanitarian Foreign Policy” held at Haci Bayram Veli University in Ankara.

The diplomat reminded that the Istanbul grain agreement, concluded with Turkey's mediation, helped prevent a global food crisis. Cavusoglu noted that Turkey's recent steps to prevent the energy crisis have increased energy security both in Turkey and in the surrounding countries.

In his speech, the minister also mentioned that due to the consequences of the Russia-Ukraine war and sanctions against Moscow, the North Corridor has lost its significance and that the world's attention is focused on the corridor.

The minister expressed hope that “Armenia will also come to its senses and benefit from the projects that will pass through that country.”
