Russian Peacekeepers Monitor Ceasefire Regime, Says Russian Defense Ministry

There have been no incidents reported today in the area of responsibility of the peacekeeping forces operating in Nagorno-Karabakh, according to the Russian Defense Ministry.

“Russian peacekeepers are monitoring the situation and ensuring compliance with the ceasefire regime at 30 observation posts around the clock. No violations have been registered in the area of responsibility of the Russian contingent,” the statement said.

Patrolling has been carried out in three directions: Martuni, Martakert, and Shushi regions. It was also noted that continuous cooperation is maintained with the general staffs of the armed forces of Armenia and Azerbaijan to prevent possible incidents.
