Snow Falling on Certain Roads

The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that there are closed roads in the territory of Armenia.

The roads are closed from the 'Amberd' high mountain meteorological station in Aragatsotn province towards Amberd fortress and Kary lake, as well as the road leading to the Haghartsin monastery complex in Tavush province.

The roads in the Lori province's Stepanavan bends are closed for trucks with trailers, while other vehicles can only pass with difficulty.

There are spots of black ice on the roads in Shirak, Syunik, and Lori provinces.

In the Amasia region of Shirak province, snow is falling, as well as in Tavush province and on the Alaverdi-Spitak-Tashir section of the road.

There is fog in the Vardenyats mountain pass, in Tavush province, on the Lanjik-Mastara road in Shirak province, in the Lanjarr-Lusashogh section of Ararat province, and in the high-altitude areas of Syunik province.
