It Is Known When the Lights of the Republic's Main Christmas Tree Will Be Turned On

On December 5 at 19:00, the opening ceremony of the "Children's Eurovision" will take place in Republic Square, and the lights of the Republic's main Christmas tree will be turned on. This was announced by the Yerevan Municipality.

It was previously reported that starting from 15:00 today, the streets leading to Republic Square will be closed to ensure the safety of participants in the opening ceremony of the 20th international competition of "Children's Eurovision-2022" and the lighting of the Christmas tree. Specifically, the following streets will be closed:

• Tigran the Great Avenue from the Tigran the Great Avenue-Khanjyan Street intersection,
• Nalbandyan Street from Sakharov Square,
• Abovyan Street from the Abovyan-Pushkin Street intersection,
• Amiryan Street from the Amiryan-Zakyan Street intersection,
• Vazgen Sargsyan Street from Shahumyan Square.
