Black Ice, Fog: Current Situation on Roads

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that there are closed roads in the territory of Armenia.

The roads leading from the "Amberd" high-altitude meteorological station in Aragatsotn Province to the Amberd Fortress and Lake Kari are closed.

There is black ice on the roads in the regions of Aparan, Talin, and Aragats in Aragatsotn Province, as well as in the Dilijan curves.

Fog has been reported in the Vardenyats Pass, in the area known as Saravan-Zanger, and in the Dilijan curves. Additionally, fog is present in the high-altitude areas of Syunik Province, as well as in the regions of Noyemberyan in Tavush Province, and along the roads in the villages of Lanjik in Shirak Province.

Snowfall is occurring in the regions of Noyemberyan, Ijevan, and Berd in Tavush Province, in the Dilijan curves, in Shirak Province, and also in the cities of Hrazdan in Kotayk Province, Vanadzor, Spitak, Stepanavan in Lori Province, and in the Syunik Province cities of Kapan, Goris, and Sisian, as well as the area known as Zanger.

Regarding Lars, according to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open to all types of vehicles.
