Law Enforcement Searches for 3 Individuals in Armed Incident on Yervand Kochar Street
The Investigative Committee of Armenia has announced that a criminal case has been initiated regarding the incident on Yervand Kochar Street under the provisions of Articles 297, Part 3, 335, Part 1, and 452, Part 3 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia. The preliminary investigation is ongoing, and currently, 6 individuals have been involved as suspects, out of which 3 are incarcerated. Preventive measures have also been chosen for the remaining 3 suspects, with the police instructed to locate them and present them to the investigative body.
It should be reminded that on November 7, the police in Yerevan prevented an armed brawl. At around 20:30, operational information was received by the Criminal Investigation Division of the Central Police Department and the Criminal Investigation Division of the Yerevan Police Department that an armed confrontation was occurring among a group of young people on Yervand Kochar Street.
Police discovered one combat revolver at the scene, while in a Mazda 6 vehicle, another combat weapon was found at the driver's seat and another combat weapon was hidden in a secret compartment of the vehicle’s door.
