Alen Simonyan's Delegation to Travel to Moscow

The newspaper "Hayrapet" reports that from December 4 to 6, a delegation from Armenia, led by the Speaker of the National Assembly Alen Simonyan, will participate in the council of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly and the 15th plenary joint session in Moscow. Other delegates include Hakob Arshakyan, Andranik Kocharyan, and Tigran Abrahamyan from the "I Have Honor" party. Gegham Manukyan from the "Armenia" faction has opted not to attend due to another assignment. There will also be eight members from the NA staff.

Last year, Simonyan proposed hosting this session in Yerevan; however, it was not accepted. The NA press service stated, "In 2019, the plenary session of the Parliamentary Assembly and the CSTO council meetings were held in Yerevan. On June 6 of this year, the CSTO PA council meeting was also held in Yerevan, so it was decided to hold this year's session in Moscow."
