Video: What is happening at the airplane crash site
In a field near the village of Jraber in the Kotayk region, where an airplane crashed and caught fire today, law enforcement agencies are currently at work. Footage from Sputnik Armenia shows that smoke is still emanating from the wreckage of the aircraft.
Earlier, we reported that at 14:20, the National Crisis Management Center received information that a B55 type airplane had crashed and ignited in the area of the village of Jraber.
Two fire-rescue teams from the regional rescue administration of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, three teams from the Special Rescue Operations Center, and a duty team from the Medical Support Department have been dispatched to the scene.
At the site, two charred bodies have been discovered. The fire was extinguished at 14:41.
