Dumanyan on the Damage to Historical Monuments for New Year's Decorations
During preparations for New Year's events, organizers have endangered the Government building, the History Museum building, and other monuments. The Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport, Vahram Dumanyan, addressed the issue, stating that the problem lies with the Yerevan Municipality, which has committed to restoring any damage that may occur at 100%.
“This is all a temporary phenomenon, so the ministry does not discuss it in a special scientific-methodological session for temporary decorations, while the municipality, as the event organizer, is obligated and I am confident that they will restore any damage. If there is a crack or a hole, the municipality will restore it,” Dumanyan said to reporters after the government session.
