Snowfall in Syunik Region

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that there are closed and difficult-to-pass roads in the territory of the Republic of Armenia.

The roads from the high-altitude meteorological station 'Amberd' in Aragatsotn Region to the Amberd Fortress and K'ari Lake are closed. In the Syunik Region, snowfall is occurring in areas known as 'Zanger' and 'Meghru Sar'.

Regarding Lars, according to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia's Emergency Situations Department and the Crisis Management Center of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations for North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open to all types of vehicles.
