Video: Situation at Rio Mall, Rescuers Have Arrived

As previously reported, the entrance to the Rio Mall is cordoned off with tape. Police and ambulance vehicles are present on site. A group of rescuers has also arrived.

In a conversation with Auroranews.am, one citizen mentioned that an evacuation notice was declared starting at 6:30 PM, and people exited the shopping center until 8:00 PM.

We established contact with the police, where they indicated that officers are conducting operations within their jurisdiction in the specified area. When asked if an emergency had been registered, they stated that the police are conducting actions within their jurisdiction.

Auroranews.am has also contacted the Ministry of Emergency Situations. They confirmed that no alarm has been received by the ministry.

However, reports have circulated in the media that a bomb has been planted in the shopping center. It is worth noting that the Ministry of Emergency Situations has not received such a notification.
