Objections from Armenia Accepted at CSTO PA Council Meeting
Objections from the Armenian side related to the draft statement on the "Unacceptability of the Development of Biological (Microbiological) and Toxin Weapons" have been accepted. This information is provided by the staff of the National Assembly of Armenia, adding that today an extraordinary meeting of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly's Permanent Commission on Political Issues and International Cooperation took place online. The meeting was chaired by the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia, Hakob Arshakyan.
On November 24, we reported that Hakob Arshakyan had raised objections during the discussion of the draft statement of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly regarding the "Unacceptability of the Development of Biological (Microbiological) and Toxin Weapons."
"All proposals and comments have been discussed and accepted through the working procedure. As a result of the discussions, the draft statement received the committee's approval," the announcement stated.
It was also noted that documents sent to the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly have been acknowledged.
