Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan Delimit State Border
Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov has signed an agreement with Uzbekistan on the delimitation of the state border, the country's leader's press service reported to RIA Novosti on Tuesday.
"The President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Japarov, has signed ... the law on the ratification of the agreement on certain sections of the state border of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan, which was signed on November 3, 2022, in Bishkek," said the spokesperson.
It is reported that under the aforementioned agreement, the parties have defined the last 302 kilometers of the state border that had not been previously delineated. There are no more disputed areas along the Kyrgyz-Uzbek border.
