Criminal Proceedings Initiated in Connection with the Incident Involving Prime Minister Pashinyan's Brother

A criminal proceeding has been initiated in connection with the incident in which Armen Pashinyan, the brother of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, was hit by a vehicle in the Malatia-Sebastia administrative district of Yerevan.

This was reported by the Investigative Committee.

The criminal proceeding was initiated under Article 342, Part 1 of the RA Criminal Code, which pertains to violations of rules aimed at ensuring road traffic safety or the safety of road traffic and the operation of vehicles.

According to the Investigative Committee, the driver did not leave the scene of the incident.
