Fire Erupts in Dilijan National Park: What is Known

On November 25, at 05:40 AM, operational groups from the RA Ministry of Emergency Situations' Regional Rescue Department were dispatched to the scene to resume firefighting efforts at Dilijan National Park. The Deputy Director of the Rescue Department, Colonel T. Petrosyan, is present at the site.

It is noteworthy that on the 24th, at 11:51 AM, the Tavush Regional Crisis Management Center received a call indicating that a fire had broken out near the shooting range of military unit N in Dilijan. Three fire brigade units from the Regional Rescue Department were sent to the scene.

Due to darkness and difficult terrain, firefighting operations were temporarily suspended. A duty watch has been established by rescuers and employees of the Dilijan National Park. A total of 25 rescuers and 15 employees from the Dilijan National Park participated in the firefighting efforts.
