Colonel of Elite Unit Killed in Damascus Explosion
A high-ranking representative of the Aerospace Forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has been killed in an explosion in Syria. The blast was reportedly caused by a bomb planted by Israeli agents, according to the Iranian Mehr Agency, citing the public relations department of the IRGC.
The media has noted that Colonel Davud Jafari was killed yesterday morning in a roadside bombing in Damascus.
