VIDEO: A Gyumri Resident Climbs a Tree and Threatens Suicide If the Shirak Diocese Leader Does Not Come
In Gyumri, a citizen has climbed a tree and is threatening to commit suicide if Bishop Mikael Ajapahyan, the leader of the Shirak Diocese, does not come to him. This information is reported by a Sputnik Armenia correspondent from Gyumri.
"At approximately 13:10, the Emergency Situations Ministry's Rescue Service's 911 crisis management center received a call reporting that a citizen has climbed a fir tree near 4 Sayat Nova Street in Gyumri and is threatening to hang himself," the website writes.
Rescue workers, police officers, and patrol officers who arrived on-site are negotiating with the citizen.
