I Gave a Disciplinary Slap: Altercation Between Artsakh MPs

On November 18, an incident occurred between Artsakh National Assembly member Arshak Grigoryan of the "Unified Fatherland" faction and David Galstyan, the head of the "Justice" faction.

In an interview with News.am, Galstyan stated that the incident was unrelated to political matters. "I don't want to comment on those manipulative statements. The incident was interpersonal, and I don't know why the party has attributed a political aspect to it. I don't think this should be politicized. I was personally insulted, and I gave a disciplinary slap," he stated.

Galstyan declined to provide further details, stating that the matter is within the realm of law enforcement.

Previously, the "Unified Fatherland" party issued a statement alleging that in the cafe of the "Armenia" hotel, Galstyan made inappropriate remarks and sexual insults towards Grigoryan and members of the "Unified Fatherland" party, leading to mutual physical confrontations.
