Defense Army Issues Statement

On November 21, units of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces violated the ceasefire regime in several directions, opening fire from small arms at the positions of the Defense Army, as well as targeting a tractor engaged in agricultural work near the village of Machkalashen. The Armenian side has reported no casualties.

The incidents of ceasefire violations were reported to the command of the Russian peacekeeping forces.

At the same time, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense disseminated further misinformation claiming that Defense Army units fired at Azerbaijani positions located in the occupied areas of the Martuni region of the Republic of Artsakh from 16:50 on November 21 to 01:05 on November 22. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Artsakh.
