Nearly 2 meters of snow has fallen in Buffalo, USA in just one day. This information was reported by Gagik Surenyants, head of the meteorological forecast department at Haypethydromet.

American news outlets state that the snowfall is so heavy that it generates a snow layer of 5 cm per hour. Unfortunately, fatalities have not been avoided due to the anomalous precipitation. There are 2 reported casualties.

Authorities are urging the elderly, children, and individuals with health issues to avoid being outside.
