"The Interrogator was also Rao, who received a state award a few months ago": Parent of a fallen soldier on Pashinyan’s interrogation

Sixteen parents of fallen soldiers have been recognized as victims in the case of forcibly detaining parents of deceased servicemen at the Yerablur military pantheon. It is worth recalling that on the night of September 20 to 21, the parents were on duty at Yerablur to prevent Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan from visiting the military pantheon. However, in the morning of September 21, the police used force to remove them from the area, subsequently taking the parents of the deceased soldiers to a police station, allowing representatives of the government to lay flowers and wreaths.

Currently, the parents of the fallen soldiers are gathered in front of the Investigative Committee building, insisting that a significant amount of time has passed without them receiving nearly any information about the proceedings, only knowing that 16 individuals have been recognized as victims.

The parents want to learn firsthand from the Chairman of the Investigative Committee, Argishti Kyaramyan, what stage the proceedings are at. In response to reporters' observations that Prime Minister Pashinyan has recently been interrogated in connection with a state treason case, a parent reacted: “I also found out through the news that he has been interrogated. The interrogator is also Rao, who received a state award just a few months ago. He is the head of the investigative group for this case. To be honest, I don’t even believe that he was interrogated because when our lawyer inquired to find out if he had been interrogated or not, they responded that it was a secret and couldn’t tell him anything. This means they do not answer our question, and suddenly information emerges that he has been interrogated; how does that work? I don’t believe he has been interrogated, I say it again. Just because they might have met at some party and he asked him a couple of questions, does that mean he was interrogated?”
