Fire Breaks Out in Apartment on Sayat-Nova Avenue, Body Discovered Inside

A fire that broke out this morning in an apartment on Sayat-Nova Avenue has resulted in the discovery of the body of an 86-year-old citizen.

It is noted that on November 21st, at 09:02, a report was received indicating that smoke was observed coming from the roof of a three-story building near number 33 Sayat-Nova Avenue in Yerevan. Emergency services dispatched two fire-fighting units, one aerial ladder, a duty crew from the Firefighting and Rescue Operations Organization Department, and a vehicle from the gas pollution protection service to the scene.

It was determined that the fire had originated in one of the apartments on the third floor. The fire was contained by 09:21 and extinguished by 09:38. Firefighters discovered the body of L.H. (born in 1936) inside the apartment.
