Explosives Search Underway at Batumi Port

In Batumi port, law enforcement and bomb disposal experts have been mobilized for over an hour. According to 1tv.ge, there are reports of a bomb being searched for on one of the vessels.

A representative from the port's unions informed journalists that an unknown person called the port administration and reported that a ship, which was preparing to depart, was rigged with explosives. The port is currently closed off.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs has yet to provide any clarification.
