Terror Attack in Iran: Casualties and Injuries Reported

At least five people have been killed as a result of a terrorist attack in the central market of Izeh, Khuzestan province, according to local IRNA news agency.

The attack also targeted members of security forces, and 15 individuals sustained varying degrees of injuries.

According to IRNA, the assault occurred after anti-government groups began urging residents to take to the streets and protest against demonstrations.

This is not the first such attack in Iran recently. In October, a shooting at a mosque in Shiraz resulted in the deaths of 13 people, including women and children.
