Explosion and Fire in Istanbul: Details

An explosion occurred in the Fatih district of Istanbul, after which several vehicles in the vicinity caught fire. According to Habertürk, the explosion happened in one of the cars, and the fire spread from that vehicle to others parked nearby.

As per Habertürk, the fire has already been extinguished, but the exact cause of the explosion remains unknown. There are no reports of potential casualties.

It is worth noting that Fatih is the historical center of Istanbul. On November 13, an explosion took place on Istanbul's Istiklal Street, resulting in six deaths. The country’s chief prosecutor has classified the incident as terrorism.
