VIDEO: 'It seemed they were present solely to avoid losing their salaries,' opposition members leave the National Assembly hall

“It is regrettable. It seemed that today they were present solely to avoid losing their mandates or salaries and were absent during the discussion of this crucial document. I believe our citizens will evaluate this behavior,” said Sisak Gabrielyan from the ruling Civil Contract party during his speech at the National Assembly session, highlighting the absence of opposition members during the discussion on the draft law concerning the 'State Program for the Development of Education of the Republic of Armenia until 2030'.

“Where is this opposition? They came here, saying we need to accept that they are here,” raised a question National Assembly Vice President Ruben Rubinyan, as he noted that the opposition members had left the assembly hall again.
