Insufficient Armored Vehicles for Leaders Attending G20 in Indonesia: What's Being Proposed
In Indonesia, leaders attending the G20 summit have been advised to bring their own armored vehicles to Bali due to the limited availability of such vehicles in the country. This information was reported by Tempo.co, as relayed by gazeta.ru.
It was mentioned that Indonesia, as the host nation, was expected to provide armored vehicles for participants, but the number available has been limited. According to Setya Utama, a spokesperson for the Indonesian presidential office, “There are also those who request armored or bulletproof vehicles. We advise them to bring their own. Alternatively, we can provide vehicles, but in a very limited number. Thus, we will give them to those who request first. The number of such requests is quite high.”
According to the publication, the armored Cadillac One belonging to U.S. President Joe Biden will also be brought to Indonesia.
