Sunak Says What His Main Priority Is Now
The state cannot solve all the problems of its citizens. This was stated by UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak in an interview with the Times.
British media previously reported that Sunak intends to raise taxes to cover a £50 billion ($57.3 billion) deficit in the state budget.
“You have to be sure that when you do something, you do it with dignity and you are honest with people. No government can solve all problems. Life is not that straightforward,” Sunak said. According to him, his main priority now is to combat inflation.
