"Parliamentary Opposition Did Not Acknowledge Several Truths" - Political Scientist
If Kocharian wants to remove Pashinyan, he must first step down himself. I regret that the parliamentary opposition has not recognized several truths. This was stated by political scientist Suren Surenyants on his Facebook page:
- “The formula of ‘let’s change the banker to gain time’ reveals the primitive understanding of politics by the opposition on the platform, merely legitimizing Pashinyan's loser government. A country that has lost in war does not have the resources to seek time and illusory opportunities; its problem is to sign a peace agreement with as few risks and losses as possible.”
- “Today’s parliamentary opposition, positioning itself as pro-Russian, delivers the most significant blow to Russia’s image and Armenian-Russian relations, equating them with the restoration of a criminal-oligarchic system.”
- “The opposition on the platform has not drawn conclusions from last year's parliamentary election results, focusing instead on a blitzkrieg solution strategy. If Robert Kocharian genuinely wants to remove Nikol Pashinyan from power, he should not rush to announce his participation in tomorrow’s rally but rather declare his decision to withdraw from politics.”
It is noteworthy that the parliamentary opposition has announced a rally scheduled for November 5.
